The following update was provided:

Our on-site engineers are continuing to work to resolve this issue and return the VoIP platform to usual operation.

Post Brief:

We are seeing problems connecting calls on our VoIP platform.

Post Impact:

SIP:

Customers may experience an inability to dial out through their VoIP lines.

Affecting VoIP

Overview

We plan to update sip routers traffic handling for internal purposes.

Customer Impact

No calls will be affected, since the maintenance will be done on a single redundant host at a time.

Planned activity

We will enable new routes, which will be useful for us to automate some of the testing procedures. Eventually, this will allow us to react faster to some of the emergency situations if they happen.

DNS Servers–Emergency Outage

When's this work happening?

Early tomorrow morning, 8th August.

What does it affect?

The routing of all traffic across Sits network.

How long will it take?

Up to 20 mins.

What does the work involve?

We will be resetting the DNS servers

Am I likely to notice the work?

Is there anything else I need to know?

Any customers having problems connecting once the maintenance is complete are advised to switch off their equipment for 30 minutes before powering it back up and attempting to reconnect.

Codec Improvements

We deploying updated codecs this morning on all our phone systems to improve quality for all users on our VoIP platforms.

All changes should be complete by the end of the day. You will experience no downtime during these changes.

Intermittent IAX outbound call failures

IN PROGRESS - Intermittent IAX outbound call failures We are seeing some intermittent outbound call fails over our IAX platform. Our server admin team are working on this now and we will post an update here as soon as possible.

IAX Trunk Issues

We are currently experiencing an issue which is affecting both inbound and outbound calls over our IAX platform.

Our engineering teams have been altered to this issue and are currently investigating the cause of the problem.

Further updates will be posted once information has been made available.

Inbound Calls

Our appologies for our issue with the telephone lines. This was tracked to an issue with our wholesale supplier. This has now been corrected.

Issue with VOIP Trunks
