Sometimes a message becomes stuck in the
Outbox for unknown reasons. The purpose of this article is not to
discuss reasons why this happens, but is intended to help the end user
recover when this happens.
- Check the "Sent Items" folder to see if the message actually did go
out, but was not removed from the Outbox. If it was sent, then simply
remove the message and there is no need to proceed with these steps.
- If the message was not sent, then drag it to the "Drafts" folder.
- Go to the "Drafts" folder, then open the message. Click "Send" and the message will be delivered again.
